Sustainability

Every project has unique goals when it comes to sustainability. We focus on understanding our clients' objectives and supporting a process to help make informed decisions along the way. This includes life-cycle cost analysis for energy-efficient HVAC or electrical systems that may have a higher initial cost but reduce energy consumption. We have also created customized budgeting tools to evaluate the most cost-effective path to achieving LEED or other sustainability certifications. Through our support, our client's feel confident in getting the best value in both first cost and long-term performance in meeting their goals for project sustainability.

The combination of sophisticated laboratory and IT requirements with complicated high-energy efficiency lighting and HVAC systems was particularly challenging. Our project goal was to achieve LEED Silver.
